Our Foot Cradle Technology (F.C.T.) combines a thermoplastic heel cup with a compression molded EVA midsole. The result is a flexible forefoot and stable rearfoot. Shoes with FCT also have polymer gel pads situated under the ball of the foot for additional comfort and protection.
Features and Benefits
Extra Depth: A pair of pre-molded inserts and a pair of removable spacers are included for extra depth when needed.
Slip Resistant: Tests by an independent testing laboratory scored minimum results of greater than 0.5 under both wet and dry conditions in accordance with ASTM F1677. Classified as “slip-resistant” by the U.S. Footwear Industry.
Full Grain Leather: Full-grain leather stays looking and performing like new long after the impostors (coated or painted to look like full-grain) have worn out.
Genuine Suede: The exterior of the upper is made of genuine suede. Stays soft and supple longer and, unlike some synthetics, it breathes.
Trek Dry®: Includes Trek Dry®, an innovative fiber. Body heat activates and enhances its rate of moisture absorption. Reduces the risk of chafing and creates a comfortable environment for the foot.
Arch Support Insert: Raised arch support and contoured heel cup to provide support and help realign the foot into a neutral position. Helps reduce pain in lower extremity joints.
Grasp Outsoles: made of a special polymer, formulated after extensive testing, for excellent cushioning. More durable and provides better traction.
Stretch Vamp: Some styles have an elastic fabric in forefoot area. Ideal for bunions or any condition that requires a little stretch.
