Morbid Obesity, Venous Disease and today’s treatments for Cancer can lead to a compromised lymphatic system and severe swelling/lymphedema in the legs including the feet. It can be difficult for patients and healthcare providers to find the correct footwear to manage these specific needs.

These shoes allow the foot to be placed entirely on the footbed while the long adjustable touch closure straps contour the foot for a customized fit.
For proper size selection, start with your normal shoe size (by length), ensuring that the specific shoe has plenty of depth and a deep toe-box to accommodate, bandages and/or swelling in the foot, but also in the toes. The other important measurement is foot girth because the swelling and/or bandages can caused the foot to change in size and volume.

The Pedors Classic Slide is only currently available in the 6E (XXX-W) width, designed for people with very swollen feet. The adjustable velcro strap allows to adjust for girth and to secure the slide to the foot.
