Haglund's deformity is an enlargement of the bone at the back of the heel, which irritates the soft tissues around the Achilles tendon, leading to heel pain. It is often caused by wearing stiff or ill-fitting shoes, resulting in a bony bump that can cause pain, swelling, and inflammation. This condition is also known as "Pump Bump" or "Mulhulland Deformity". Treatment options may include changing footwear, physical therapy, or in some cases, surgery.
