Mary Jane Shoes for Bunions | Wide Feet | Extra-Wide Feet
Why are the Mary Janes good shoes for bunions?
The Mary Jane features a Pedoprene forefoot upper which stretches to accommodate any forefoot problems such as bunions, hammertoes, corns and mildly swollen feet. It is also worn by women who just need comfortable extra-wide shoes because they have wide and extra-wide feet.
Please note, these shoes are NOT recommended for very swollen feet due to edema or lymphedema. If you have considerable swelling, especially on the top of your feet, please consider purchasing the Classic or Classic MAX.
The closure is an adjustable strap that maintains the ability of the shoe to stretch throughout the day to accommodate swelling that may take place.
The Mary Jane features an adjustable closure for easy fitting and a removable insole for diabetic inserts like 2P inserts or orthotics like Beats for people dealing with plantar fasciitis, heel pain or metatarsalgia.
The Mary Jane is available in black or beige, full and half sizes and three widths; medium, wide, x-wide.
Materials
The material used in the upper panel is known as Pedoprene™. The rest of the upper is leather.
We formulated Pedoprene™ to be able to stretch where needed and be molded when necessary to accommodate the most demanding bunion, corn, hammertoe or other forefoot deformity to avoid discomfort or even pain.
The adjustable double touch closures make the shoe easy to put on and take off and easy and to adjust over the course of the day when swelling is present.
